GRACE WHIP CLAY or WHIP CREAM TYPE CLAY

Instructions and Tips for Use - www.KawaiiSupply.com

STORAGE:

Always store your Grace whip cream clay in airtight packaging and containers. A good way to do this is by wrapping your unused clay portions tightly with plastic wrap or in a baggie to keep the air out and then storing inside of an airtight container.

ADDING COLOR:

  1. Place the desired amount of Grace whip cream clay to be colored into a plastic disposable cup.
  2. Using an acrylic based craft paint add a few drops of the desired paint color and stir into the clay with a toothpick, chopstick or plastic utensil to even out the color.
  3. Continue to add paint sparingly and stir into the clay to work the color in evenly until the desired shade is reached.

    HINTS:

  • If you go too dark add a little more whip cream clay to lighten it up.
  • Experiment and have fun, almost any color is achievable.

 DRYING:

  1. Grace whip cream clay is air dry craft clay so you simply leave your whip cream clay item exposed to the air and it dries all on its own. No baking needed!
  2. Depending on the thickness of your Grace whip cream clay piece it will normally take 1-3 days for your item to dry completely. Thinner items tend to dry within a day.
  3. Grace whip cream clay normally starts to setup after an hour or two.

 PASTRY BAG:

  1. Grace whip cream clay and other whip cream clays can be applied (piped) similar to cake frosting with a standard baker's pastry bag and tips.
  2. Cut and prepare your pastry bag before your mix the clay with color so it doesn't start to dry out before you get it in the pastry bag.
  3. Install the pastry tip per the manufacturer's instructions and then tape it to the bag with strong packing tape so it doesn't come off during use.
  4. Put the clay into the pastry bag and start piping your whip cream clay!

    HINTS:

  • Cold Grace whip cream clay can be hard to pipe through the pastry bag. Use a hairdryer to warm the clay while inside the pastry bag to make it softer and easier to pipe.
  • We already mentioned this but securely tape the pastry tip to the bag so the pressure of the whip cream clay being piped can't push the tip off half way thru your project.
  • Use disposable pastry bags as whip cream clay can be difficult to wash out.
